I started watching Downton Abbey.
Several clients, editors, and even the Sharkly one herself, had told me about Downton (I believe Janet described it as Rambo but with words), and sure enough, after just one episode I was insanely hooked.
It's a beautifully written show. The dialogue is some of the best on TV, and the characters are all so complex and interesting.
In short, everyone should check it out. It really is amazing.
But the reason I decided to blog about it is that an editor I know and love recently sent me these videos (below). And if you are in love with Downton Abbey, like me, you must watch them.

I recently started watching this via Netflix, too! Love it! I think I've only watched four episodes or so - been super busy - but I'm looking forward to watching more.
I think it's highly irresponsible of you to post videos like this where your clients are forced to click on them and watch and laugh, instead of writing our future masterpieces. LOL
I can't wait to share this with Dave. We're both new Downton addicts. :)
I've only just started watching this myself. I spent all day watching season one instead of being productive lol. Those videos are fantastic haha.
my family started watching this series a few weeks ago.
We rented all the first season and had a marathon session. All of us. I can't remember the last time my entire family agreed so wholeheartedly on ANYTHING.
Downton Abbey is fantastic. I can't wait for season 2 to hit DVD. And then for season 3, because Shirley MacLaine will be there to verbally joust with everyone :).
I keep hearing about this show but have not seen it...I don't think we have it here in Canada...
You're doomed now, like the rest of us. Wait until you get to the Christmas episode!
Ha! It's my obsession too. I started it on Netflix and watched the entire first season in one night. Now I catch all of the second season. It's so great.
I went through seven episodes in one weekend.
Wow. My beta reader just told me this weekend that I have to start watching this show. She and her daughter both love it and since my daughter and I are both Anglophiles she thought we'd love it too. Guess, I know what I'll be doing this weekend.
