Oh my God! I nearly peed my pants! I don't know which one I love most. They're all so hilarious. Thanks for the laughs.

Her date was pleasant enough, but she knew that if her life was a movie this guy would be buried in the credits as something like "Second Tall Man."

I think this one would work, with a little editing.

Should I be worried?

"The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn't."

Ha. These were all hilarious, but that one has to be my favorite.

I've seen that exact same list of metaphors/similes listed with a different source, but who really cares where they came from? They're hilarious either way.

I have also seen this list before, but I don't remember the "Second Tall Man" one.

I also agree with Sarah W. I kind of like the "Second Tall Man" simile. I'm pretty sure I went out with him once, too. :)

Suzie, it is true that zombie novel we all had to read was pure unadulterated crap. You're right, it was well written, but my God, the author cannot tell a coherent story.

But don't let this sour you on zombie novels. Check out Max Brooks's World War Z or Mira Grant's Feed. Those books are pure awesome.
