You might think this is how @dankrokos got his agent. You'd be wrong. Here's the truth:

Five Random Things About Suzie
1. I drink so much orange soda, it's probably running through my veins. I've been known to go through a twelve pack of diet sunkist in a day.
2. I'm legitimately nocturnal (or a vampire). I will be so exhausted at two pm that I'm falling asleep standing up - it has happened before, at Six Flags no less - but as soon as the sun goes down I'm wide awake.
3. I have a gorgeous unused $6000 Reem Acra wedding dress hanging in my closet, and it showed up on my doorstep the same day my (now ex) fiance broke up with me. And thank God for that. I wouldn't have wanted to waste that dress on him.
4. Social anxiety plagues me daily. I write a script and practice in front of the mirror when I have to make a phone call, but most people who interact with me have no idea how nervous I am (or perhaps they lie) because I've worked so hard to try to overcome it.
5. I'm actually worried that I will never love my children (when I do have them in the far off future) as much as I love my dogs. I just like animals better than people - they're sweet and innocent and soft and furry - is that so wrong?

Yay! Our film debut!!
Oh my, that was the funniest video ever. I seriously laughed out loud at my desk! Excellent.
Okay that was very funny. :) Coodos on the nice sense of humor.
Nice job! I especially enjoyed the smackdown. You should expect a call very soon from Spielberg or Tarantino. "Pulp Fiction Revisted."
By that, I totally meant 'Revisited'. *hangs head in shame*
Oh, that was just brilliant. You guys have a dream job-- doing what you love and having fun doing it. Plus all that Dougie Howser theme music in the background.
I agree. Brilliant. You two would make great movie stars. ;)
Oh. My. God. This was epic. Well done ladies.
Love it.
O'Doyle Rules-- by far the best part.
Awesome indeed.
O'Doyle Rules?!?! The best part of the entire clip!!! You HAVE to make more of these! :D
I loved this. And I'm still smiling about it.
Hahahahaha!! OMG, that was hilarious!! Y'all crack me up! Happy April Fool's Day, Suzie and Jo!
Very funny! I hope you guys never fight again--it looked brutal!
I love the life of an agent, lets all be one for a day!
Too dang funny!!!!!!!!
So funny. Thanks for the smiles.
LOL!!!!
What a great behind-the-scenes glance into the operations of an agent. I'm sure that every aspiring author pictures EXACTLY the same thing happening with their manuscript.
That was hysterical!
Adorable!
BWAHAHAHAAAA. Can't wait to hear what Janet thinks of this!!
OMG, you two are toooooo amazing! So good! LOL!!!
LOL
that was. that was...
that was genius. inspired by genius.
incredible.
hahahahahah
OMG, too funny.
The soundtrack kills me!
OMG, that was AWESOME! I couldn't stop giggling. Totally the perfect way to kick off April Fool's day. :-D
Oh. My. God. THAT was freaking fantastic!!!
Classic! :D
Oh, that is too funny. I felt like I was looking at my house instead of your offices - I have that same Christmas TJ Maxx bag (my cats have played/slept in it until they tore the seams) and the same pillows (the green circles in squares ones) that were on the red couch.
Nice shout out for The DUFF! And I love the twist where The Janet Reid swoops in and steals the client! :D
I'm just glad you read mine before you got to Dan's. He's ruined you for all other authors. O_O
Oh no Lisa, we have battles like this Every. Day. Joanna has attacked me at least twice in envy since you didn't query her with PD. :)
LOLOL!!
That was hilarious - slithery indeed. :)
you guys are beyond adorable.
loved the inspirational music and the mutual asskicking. now that's what I call a passion for books.
Hilarious! Can this please be the start of a series?!
Love it! A series - great idea Rebecca!
Beyond. Amazing.
I would've laughed so much harder and louder if I hadn't been in a public place, but omg that was just hilarious! I loved the maniacal laughter at the end! That's just what I always thought Janet sounds like...
I think it's obvious that the soundtrack made this film.
My old man came up the stairs to my office to find out why I was laughing so hard. Sorry, you have such sneaky competition.
FUNNY! Y'all are so adorable.
(Seriously, Joanna, never get in a book fight with Suzie. For one thing, she has more books than ANYONE, so it's an ammunition supply issue. You can't win.)
Now, Suzie, stop fighting with Joanna and get back to work selling my Roadkill Alphabet book.
Thanks for making me laugh during my lunch break! You guys are just as hilarious and entertaining on video as you are in person.
Bwahahaha! You two are adorable. The snake confused me until the credits and I nearly spewed water out my nose! Loved the music.
Okay, Jo, I KNOW that was my manuscript on the floor in the elevator!! (The reason I know it is because that kind of thing happens to me All The Time!!) I always thought I was just clumsy, but now I know that the pages are just plain slippery!!
Well done!
Can't wait for your next installment (and I hope no books were harmed in the fight scene....)
Shelley
Doogie Howser theme!!! How much do I love you guys right now??? So off to youtube all my fave 80's shows!
Nice move with the chair there...
ER... I don't get why everyone was laughing...I was TERRIFIED! I mean that scary looking snake was everywhere...and you stopped at the most frightening part...what happened when the snake and flamingo met....??
HAPPY APRIL FOOLS - LOVED IT!!
Thanks for the laugh.
And...I almost spit Pepsi all over my laptop. You need to warn people not to drink beverages as they watch this! Hundreds of laptop screens are possibly getting ruined.
Great video you guys. Not very many things make me almost do spit takes, but this DEFINITELY did. :)
OMG the epic-ness of this is off the charts. Lux Aeterna for the win!!! Love the soundtrack. I seriously hope this isn't the last video from you two, I think we need a whole series:-)
This was hilarious. My kids are all, "What are those ladies doing?"
And now I have a compulsion to watch Doogie Howser.
Wow, who knew agenting was so violent?
Brilliant work!
EPIC.
Whoever suggested you do a series broke into my brain. You guys should do webisodes!
I loved the video, but I have to be honest- the advanced copy of The Duff was the real wow factor for me, haha. Keep up the good work!
The best documentary I've ever seen!!
Love it!
Funny. Nice to see that Joanna does where some color... not following the NYC black/white/gray dress code.
I noticed, when they were hugging, that Suzie had her fingers crossed. Hm.
Hey, I just noticed the picture of Monica & me in our Snuggies on Jo's bulletin board! It's like my own brush with greatness!
That was awesome! Loved it!
I loved it. Thanks for sharing!
I loved it. Thanks for sharing!
Ya gotta love the book bus...too much fun!
LOL That was great!
Realize I'm a little late to respond to this video, but never the less wanted to say thanks for adding some personality to the agent hunt. In short, it helps narrow my search greatly, in your favor I might add. Also I'd like to add to what another respondent suggested and that you all should do more of these "webisodes."
haha this is wonderful!
So funny! You two are great!
I love it. You two are so funny. Hehehe
This made my day. Love it.
made my day. love this.
LOL! Thanks for lightening up the process for me; you guys are awesome!
