Waiting on Wednesday:

Today's pick for the can't-wait-until-this-title-is-released is Fallen by Lauren Kate. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with Hush, Hush, but this is another fallen angel book coming out with beautiful cover art (not quite as good but striking nonetheless), and it sounds like it might be as amazing as I hope.

There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.

Great choice. This book is amazing, after reading the prologue I was hooked. Have you seen the trailer made for it yet? I have it posted on my blog

FALLEN sounds amazing. And I LOVE the cover - it reminds me a little of the one for The Forest of Hands and Teeth.

My sister just finished Hush, Hush and is passing it on to me. Hopefully, I can start it today! :)

In my case, it was quite the opposite. I enjoyed Hush, hush, but I'm no longer looking forward to this book. I've had my share of the I'm-silly-and-kinda-masochistic type of girls... ¬¬
